Gautherot, a French in Brazil
Categories : Exhibitions / Museums, published on : 6/23/16
French but Brazilian by heart, Marcel Gautherot occupies an essential place in the history of Brazilian photography. The artist excels as much in the architecture of images as in ethnographic photographs of fishermen at work or cities in festivals. Capturing the Amazon rainforest or workers on the gigantic project of Brasilia, Marcel Gautherot is a great photograph that the European House of Photography honors until August 28, 2016.
To go to the MEP from the hotel, just go up the Seine to the Marais. The 5 rue de Fourcy is at a 10 minute walk.
