PARIS MARATHON – THE CITY IN STRIDE, BETWEEN STRENGTH AND ELEGANCE

At dawn, as Paris slowly stretches under the morning light, another rhythm takes over. A more intense breath, paced by thousands of footsteps pounding the pavement. The Schneider Electric Paris Marathon returns this year, faithful to its legendary route, where athletic achievement meets the majesty of the capital.

From the Avenue des Champs-Élysées to Avenue Foch, 42.195 kilometers unfold like a symphony, where each stride tells a story—a personal challenge set against the incomparable backdrop of Paris.

An exceptional route, a moving scenery

The race begins amidst the cheers of a city still waking up. Runners leave the Champs-Élysées, cross Place de la Concorde, and brush past the Louvre with its timeless elegance. But it is along the Seine, between silver reflections and Haussmannian facades, that the marathon fully comes to life.

Nearly halfway through, the route follows the riverbanks, just below the Hôtel de Lille Saint-Germain-des-Prés. From the Left Bank, between the Musée d’Orsay and Île de la Cité, Paris unfolds under each stride, offering a living masterpiece with every breath.

Then, the course heads towards the green expanses of the Bois de Vincennes, before returning to the city, where the silhouette of the Eiffel Tower rises like a beacon—imposing yet reassuring. Finally, the Bois de Boulogne welcomes the final kilometers before a triumphant finish on Avenue Foch, the ultimate bridge between effort and accomplishment.

The Paris Marathon is more than just a physical challenge—it is a tribute to the city, a way to experience it differently, up close to its architecture and atmosphere. The riverbanks, the bridges, the grand perspectives… everything contributes to this performance, where movement becomes an art form.
